NextGen Scholarship

The CrowdStrike Foundation established its NextGen Scholarship program to support the development of the next generation of talent and leadership in cybersecurity and artificial intelligence (AI).

NextGen Scholarships provide financial assistance to select undergraduate and graduate students studying cybersecurity and/or AI and completing the scholarship application.

Important Dates for NextGen Scholarships

FEBRUARY 28, 2019 | APPLICATION PROCESS BEGINS

APPLICATION AVAILABLE ON CROWDSTRIKE.ORG HERE.

APRIL 22, 2019 | DEADLINE FOR SUBMITTING COMPLETED APPLICATIONS

JULY 15, 2019 | FINAL DECISIONS BY THE CROWDSTRIKE FOUNDATION

SCHOLARSHIP APPLICANTS WILL BE EVALUATED ON A RANGE OF CRITERIA INCLUDING ACADEMIC RECORD AND COURSES, EXPERIENCE, AND INTEREST IN CYBERSECURITY AND/OR AI. SCHOLARSHIP FUNDS OF $5000 WILL BE DISBURSED TO THE UNIVERSITY OR EDUCATIONAL INSTITUTION THE SCHOLARSHIP RECIPIENT IS ENROLLED IN WITHIN 60 DAYS OF SCHOLARSHIP AWARD. APPLICANTS RECEIVE EMAIL NOTIFICATION OF APPLICATION DECISION. SCHOLARSHIP AWARDS MUST BE USED BY RECIPIENT WITHIN 6 MONTHS OF THE SCHOLARSHIP AWARD DATE.

LAST YEAR, THE FOUNDATION RECEIVED OUTSTANDING APPLICATIONS FROM UNDERGRADUATE AND GRADUATE STUDENTS AT UNIVERSITIES ACROSS THE U.S. AND AWARDED NEXTGEN SCHOLARSHIPS TO STUDENTS FROM BROWN, GEORGE MASON, STANFORD, AND VIRGINIA TECH.
